Since I sold my house all my ornaments and lights are in storage, so…
I can decorate the tree any way I want this year, and I can’t decide: White Lights or Multi-Colored?
The multi colored lights on the trees in the picture are just outside the door of our cabin in Montana. I used to do all white but in the last few years I put colored lights outside and I really like them.
The tree inside by the fire is decorated in white lights and vintage ornaments.
So now that everything is in storage and I can do anything I want for our tree in Texas this year, which should it be?
White Lights or Multi-ColoredĀ on the Christmas Tree?
Please tell me what you think in the comments below.
Thank you,
I really like multi-colored lights. I think it is because I have gotten tired of seeing the white lights everywhere, on every house as you drive down a street. The multi-colored lights remind me of the way we decorated the tree when I was growing up, so nostalgia wins out. Your pictures are lovely, Jane.
If you are talking about just having an indoor tree, I think the simple white light route is the way to go.
I’ve put multi on the outside and white on the inside before and liked it Pat, thanks! Jane
We love our multi colored lights. Everywhere you look are the white lights!
I’m kinda thinking that too Renee!
I like the simplicity and elegance of white lights but, multi-colored have always been my favorite since I tend to like a lot of color around me.
Oh my, I love color Gary! Thanks for commenting, Jane
Multi-color…. It”s more traditional!!
That’s the direction I’m leaning. Ive used multi outside before and I think it might be time to try it inside. Thanks Doyle, Jane
White lights are classy and beautiful!
They are Chance, thank you for commenting! Jane
Multi. It just says Christmas š
Yeah, I kinda think so too Sandra:) Thanks for the thoughts, Jane
I have one ‘formal’ tree that’s all white lights and then a ‘fun’ tree that’s mostly colored lights with a some white lights mixed in. We felt that all multi-color was just too dark and needed a bit of brightening up.
THat’s the way to solve the problem Adrienne:)
