I’ve always loved color, for instance the spectacular turquoise tile…
in my Ft. Worth kitchen!
But when I moved into my new Dallas home, the walls were already white, painted in a museum quality finish…so I took up the challenge to “live with white”, and I wanted to show you a few shots of how I’m doing so far.
The kitchen isn’t finished yet, but I love the crisp feel of the marble tops and mirrored back splash behind the white lacquered cabinets.
My Ft. Worth dining room was one of my favorite spaces in the house…I loved the soft coral walls that caught the afternoon sunlight…
I’m using the same blue and white pottery but this time against a white backdrop in my new home and I like the fresh feel.
I had 200 year old terra cotta tile from Spain in the Ft. Worth home…
I swapped for wood, and this fabulous cheetah patterned carpet in my new Dallas home.
So, which look do you like better? The warm colorful tones in my Ft. Worth home or the white backdrop in my new Dallas digs?
I’ll have lots more pictures and resources where you can buy some of my favorite things in upcoming posts, but I just wanted to give you a snapshot of how things are coming along!
Have a beautiful day,
What a contrast, both equally beautiful, and somewhat reflective of the differences between Fort Worth and Dallas!
Jane, you have exquisite taste, all the colors are beautiful.
Love everything you’ve done with your new home!!! I’m so impressed with the mirrored backsplash, but I’m unable to tell how they were installed…it looks like grout from one angle, yet another look made me question myself.
Wow!!! So vastly different from your former home…which absolutely made me salivate…every single thing! However, I’m so loving the clean look of your new home…the kitchen is spectacular.
Thanks for sharing with us!
Sincerely,
Pam
