Tacky Box, this one is mine…
and I hope very soon you will have one too.
I like to tell you about things that I think are new and important. This is a very short post and I hope you will read it.
A couple of questions:
Were you ever made fun of as a kid? Was your child ever called names or bullied? How about anyone you know…have you ever seen someone cry after being made fun of?
I’m a Mom and yes, my child was bullied. That’s why I am passionate about Tacky Box.
For now, I just ask you to do one thing: click on the Tacky Box link and find out what it is.
That’s all, and have a beautiful Thursday,
As a teenager I had a very large nose and to make matters worse, a very slight chin. I was terribly self-conscious and felt ugly. One evening at a church banquet a girl sitting across from me said, “You’d have pretty eyes if you could see them over your nose.” I was thirteen and humiliated. At seventeen I had my nose surgically altered. Even now at seventy years that thought still burns.
Thanks so much Jan, children can be awful.
Oh yes, I have naturally curly hair and in grade school my friend called mop head. She even went as far as chasing me around with mop and glow during a football game and to this day, I am very particular about my hair!
Sounds like you were able to deal with it Kim, thanks.
