You just have to have these yummy chicken wings for all your friends…
Whether it’s the office party, or a big crew around your TV at home, half the fun of watching March Madness basketball is the food that goes with it!
Since I’m pretty busy hosting Good Morning Texas I called my friend and award winning chef Carol Ritchie for a quick an easy party idea. Here’s one she loves:
Champion Chicken Wings
1 pound chicken wings
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 cups crushed corn flakes cereal
1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
Separate the wing at the joint so there are two pieces. Place wings and buttermilk in a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 8 hours. In a shallow bowl, stir together crushed corn flakes, lemon pepper seasoning, and salt. Remove the wings from the buttermilk, and roll them in the cereal mixture. Place on a baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Drizzle olive oil over chicken wings. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce: Ranch, BBQ, or Sweet & Sour Sauce.
