SATURDAY NIGHT OUT

I was invited to a small dinner party tonight at Taverna in Ft Worth…

one of my favorite places for Italian food.

The group is fun and relaxed so I wanted to wear something festive, but comfortable enough to eat pasta in…cause I love Taverna’s Frito Misto. And the I had the Carpaccio and the Pasta Bolognese.

For me at this time of year, leggings with a little sexiness are perfect and a loose but light oversized sweater are my “go to” pieces.  I added my absolute favorite booties. Leggings are something it’s easy to buy online; there’s even a site called onlyleggings.com.

The evening was a blast!

Fun, friends and food…pretty much the perfect night  out for me. (And I was just right with my TCU purple!)

    Love the leggings and they are a great match with the detailing of the boots. Do you remember the leggings we wore in the 80’s made famous by Flashdance? Wonder if those will ever come back? I will admit to wearing them…lol

    Tavernas – be it In Dallas, Ft. worth or Austin is one of our favorite choices for great Italian fare. We usually order (and split) the Spaghetti Carbonara. Rich and creamy sauce that makes me swoon at each first bite!
