on the annual Kidd’s Kids Trip to Disney World. She sent me this picture of her and two of the record 61 chronically or terminally ill children they took to Orlando this year.
A lot of things in Kellie’s life have changed since Kidd Kraddick died a little more than a year ago, something no one saw coming.
The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show is doing amazingly well for now, but who knows for how long, and Kellie is a single Mom to Emma Kelly.
Kellie, there have been a lot of changes for you. What are you especially thankful for this Thanksgiving?
I’m thankful for the love the people of DFW have shown us since Kidd passed away and they’ve allowed us to continue to do the job we love doing.
What’s your favorite dish on the Thanksgiving table?
My Aunt Velma collard greens!
Do you cook any or all of the Thanksgiving dinner?
I am an excellent cleaner upper. But when backed into a corner, I make a mean macaroni and cheese (my mama’s recipe).
Do you watch the Cowboys and have a turkey sandwich later?
The Cowboys will definitely be on TV but I’ll be too full for that turkey sandwich by then!
Mustard or mayo?
Both!
