I’ve known Alex’s parents, Clint & Tammy Weeden for years. We played together; golf, at Colonial Country Club.

So when the Academy of Country Music Awards came to Arlington I asked Alex if he could stop by GMT before rehearsals with Miranda Lambert and the rest of the band.

Alex talked about growing up in Ft. Worth, getting the gig with Miranda and let us in on a few behind the scenes secrets.
