I am looking for candidates! I am seeking a woman who wants a make-over…
She needs to have goals, and I want to help her achieve them.
We’ll be working on everything from appearance and etiquette to her social media. If she is a professional, she will end up with a short video.
However, she doesn’t have to be a professional, just a woman who is looking to move up to the next level in her life!
You can reply in the comments below or email me at jane@janemcgarrymedia.com.
Thank you,
Oh Jane, I have the perfect person! Her name is Melanie Robnett Petersen and she had wanted a makeover forever! I grew up with her and was afraid of her because she was a Tomboy and “thuggy” but over the years I’ve learned she is so NOT. She lives in Red Oak, Texas now, and is very very involved in the community. Most recently (May), she was elected to the ROISD school board. Her outer appearance does not match her goals, thoughts, activities, etc. Plus, she has some really bad hair and I don’t think she ever knew what to do with it. She is feminine as she has her nails done and likes pretty clothes/color but just never got the hang of it. I’d love to help her but I actually don’t know where to start either. We are currently working on our 40th high school reunion and I would love to see her updated. We used to joke we were going to submit her name to the TLC show “What Not To Wear” and she was in total agreement. The girl has a brain, just not a fashion sense.
Thank so much Patricia!
This summer I am practicing for retirement after teaching twenty eight years in the public school. For the last six years I have been a substitute in many classes in my home town. After my husband was declared missing in action in 1972 I moved back to Ellis County where my parents lived. Then I went to graduate school. In 2001, I think it was, his remains were returned and buried in East Texas. Two other times I remarried. The second was a disaster. My third husband, I never dreamed I would say that, developed Altzeheimers. He passed away six years ago. I know you are not recreating “Queen for the Day.” What I wish is to have my home painted inside and out. I have worked hard on the updates for my home. Something is always on the list to be done and necessary before painting. I have a good life, a dog, and a job that keeps me busy. A make over of my curly hair and a place to return for cuts in Dallas is more than likely the first step.
Thanks Dianne!
Thank you for always being so positive and so uplifting!!

I would love a makeover! I am an inclusion support facilitator at one of our local high schools, from which my youngest just graduated. It’s time to move on from being “Nikki’s mom” to being me. I would love professional help with a new look to cover my gray so my roots wouldn’t be so noticeable and I really need wardrobe help! Thank you.
Dear Jane,
I am 51 years old and starting a new career and new life. After spending any years always supporting others I decided to do something for myself. I am single now and went back to college and got my nursing degree. I recently got a job in the medical sales industry and would love a makeover. I have been out of the work force for so long and I want to look my best and project a professional, confident image.
It has been a long hard road with a lot of sacrifices and I am ready to shine!!! Please help.
Thank you Suzanne, I’ll keep you posted and all my best to you!
i would love a makeover! I’m not a professional but still am in need of some type of change! I’m 57 and I am feeling as if I am invisible at times in social settings. I have recently grown my hair out from very short, to pretty short. I’ve changed my makeup constantly over the last few months. I feel I am just applying different makeup in the same way and styling my hair as if it were very short. I think I need help in changing how to apply makeup in a more flattering way. And I’m not sure about my hair at all. Thanks for any consideration.
Thank you Charlotte, I’ll keep you posted.
You can use me anytime you want for a makeover or anything else you need. I taught school forever and now substitute. I am a happy grandmother of 4 precious little people age 3 and under…just if any of this joy fits your profile for future shows. I sound old as the hills but do not look like it. We still laugh and play around our home like there was no tomorrow.
Sounds like you’ve got the recipe for happiness Karen, thank you!
Jane,
Would love being “coached”, “fixed up”, and getting a makeover with my look and my business. I have been specializing in helping women get into that “perfect car” for over 20 years. I lease new cars and equipment primarily for women and can structure a lease for their company or personally depending on their financial situation. I am a single mom raising a bright 13 year old ballerina who loves school and dance. I understand the world is changing in regards to social media and advertising but how can I let more women know about how I can help them from the typical car buying situation?
Hello Jane, I feel I would be a perfect candidate for a makeover, it would be nice to get out of my shell, I will let you know more things in private, there is hope for people with medical problems, I would make s great candidate. Keep me posted! Thank you
