I just got back from Mexico and I snapped these pics…
to get some ideas for a courtyard entry I hope to build in a new home.
The first few, including the brilliant coral courtyard, were at Casa Sierra Nevada where we stayed in San Miguel.
The last few are around the beautiful pool in the central courtyard at the Villa Maria Cristina in Guanajuato.
I snapped the rest while just peeking in courtyards while we walked around town. There are such pretty things to look at!
Which ones do you like? Do you like the idea of a courtyard entry in a home?
Please tell me in the comments below,
Wow is all I can say about those pics! I love the first one with the beautiful pinks but the coral is just as beautiful. I am sure you will make yours just as beautiful. Oh, a water feature is a must 🙂
SuzieQ (thanks for posting pics like you said!)
I think the coral is my favorite:)
Didja know Attorney Fransisco Hernandez has a home there?
Did not, thanks!
Wow such wonderful colors and what a great job you did with the camera. I wished I had a courtyard 🙂
Thank you Evelyn, I enjoyed taking the pics!
San Miguel de Allende has been on my bucket list for awhile, but then I became scared to go because of all the problems in Mexico. Isn’t it about a 2 hr drive from Guanajuato…assuming you flew into there. Dang, your pics really have me wanting to go! Thanks for sharing!!!
Pam, I felt perfectly safe. Obviously don’t do anything silly but it was delightful, I’d recommend it!
Love those beautiful colors! I think courtyards are great, too. Growing up in New Orleans I knew families who lived in the French Quarter and loved sitting in their courtyards – even on the hottest, muggiest days it was a great place to be.
That’s what I’m thinkin’ Mary:)
Great colors,…just looking at these few pictures, my mind got away if only for 4 minutes. Love Mexico, been going there,…….all over there since I was a child in the 1960’s with the whole family.
I have a friend who calls them happy colors Russ, she’s right!
