These are some of my favorite recent pics…
I hope you’ll enjoy perusing them over the weekend…maybe get some ideas for places to go, places to eat or new ideas for your home or wardrobe.
The gorgeous coral courtyard and alcove with purple bougainvillea are at Casa Sierra Nevada in San Miguel Allende where I stayed recently. I would go back to San Miguel in a second!
The grey suede Alia boots, black and white Pierre Hardy kitten heel pumps and Dolce Gabbana athletic shoes are all from Carla Martinengo, Dallas. I’ve had the boots a couple of years. I like the kitten heels because they’re fun with jeans but also great for work…and I’m seeing more cool athletic shoes that I think you could wear with leggings or a skirt. I like that trend of cute and comfortable for real women.
I’m not that crazy about oysters but the platter at S&D Oyster Company in Dallas is always fresh, cold and decadently delicious. Speaking of decadent, Kate Weiser’s chocolates are luscious to look at and eat.
I love the shot of the pergola across the front of my Ft. Worth home. The stone facade is “rubble” in the Mexican style and the Mexican stone columns support a blanket of wysteria that is a gorgeous violet when it blooms in the spring. I wrapped the branches around the columns as it grew. The terra cotta tile is antique Spanish.
And finally, I shot the altar through wrought iron gates at El Santuario de Atotonilco outside San Miguel.
I hope you enjoy the pics and your weekend,
