There is nothing worse than rushing around in the kitchen while you are trying to enjoy your guests!
And it’s really difficult to find a recipe that won’t take you away from your company, but will also be delicious every time you make it.
I found one. This recipe requires only a few minutes under the broiler and then you simply let the meat rest. Everything else can be done ahead of time.
The important thing here is the way the flank steak is cooked. If you don’t like the suggested sauce you could make this recipe with any sauce you like, even your favorite sauce you pick up at the grocery store and then simply warm and serve.
I would do this with rice (made in a rice cooker so you don’t have to worry about it) or a delicious twice baked potato, that can also be done in advance, and a great tossed salad.
Serve with sliced and toasted garlic bread and you have an easy dinner party that you can be confident will be delicious every time!
Enjoy,
The Recipe That Will Save Your Dinner Party
P.S. As always, I would try this recipe once for the family before a dinner party to get the timing how long to let your flank steak sit out and precisely how long to broil it, just right. It’s kind of like doing a TV show, preparation is everything!
