My days sometimes start at 5:00 and don’t end until almost midnight.
I don’t like to go out to for dinner during the week because I usually end up eating extra calories.
So, how to eat healthy, without spending a lot of time in the kitchen?
One of my favorite tricks is to put a main dish in the crock pot before I head out the door in the morning, then make a fresh healthy salad or vegetable when I get home. Add some rice or pasta for a great family meal.
I love coming home to the smell of dinner…that’s already cooked!
Here is one of my favorite recipes:
To Die For Crock Pot Roast
Ingredients:
1 (4-5 lb.) beef roast
1 (1 1/4 ounce) pkg. brown gravy mix, dry
1 (1 1/4 ounce) pkg. dried Italian salad dressing mix
1 (1/14 ounce pkg. ranch dressing mix, dry
1/2 cup water
Directions:
1) Place roast in crock pot
2) Mix dried mixes together in bowl and sprinkle over roast
3) Pour water around the roast
4) Cook on low for 7-9 hours
What could be easier?
And better than coming home to dinner that’s already done!
Enjoy,

I can see why Tracey, it’s really good:)
I make the same; however I mix the 3 dry mixes in 2 cups of water and then pour over the roast.
Always fork tender.
Yummy! I’m going to try that, thanks. Jane
