There is a reason these balloons are so beautiful…

They are helping change the lives of women who have breast cancer.

The diagnosis of cancer is devastating enough, but up to 70% of women don’t have the insurance or other resources to cover reconstructive surgery after mastectomy. I was astonished when I first heard that number.

I am on the board of The  AiRS Foundation , which is dedicated to helping provide the necessary surgery for women who can not afford reconstruction  and this are some pics from our fun event at Klyde Warren Park leading up to BRA Day, coming up October 15th.  BRA Day is a nationwide campaign to help educate women about Breast Reconstruction Awareness.
