I talk for a living, so it’s pretty embarrassing when I don’t pronounce a word correctly!
But in everyday life, knowing how to pronounce words is a nice skill to have; it’s a confidence booster.
I thought I would ace this little test, but sadly I didn’t.
Here’s the link for Words You Are Mispronouncing.
I got only 9 right, which is awful! Take the test, and let me know how you scored.
I’d like to know which ones you got, and which ones you didn’t!
I tried to read it all and listen to the words but it kept kicking me out.

It kicks me out all the time so I had to unsubscribe and just go in manually everyday.
I missed bestial, spherical, Chilean, vertebrae and eschew.
Me too Paula:)
Fun!
I got eleven, but question two that I missed: vertebrae (I agree there is no ‘bray’, but in the medical field we refer to it with a short ‘a’sound at the end), and mayoral (even other online pronunciation sites say ‘may-or’-al’, with the accent on the ‘or’ instead of the ‘may’).
I guess as long as we get our point across…
Exactly Tad!
