There are aย lot of good Mexican food restaurants in DFW, butย my favorite may just be…

El Asadero.

The last time I went to El Asadero on North Main Street in Ft. Worth it was packed. Itโ€™s always full, and most of the time the people eating there are speaking Spanish. This is a family owned gem.

The queso is the kind you find in Mexico. Itโ€™s made with asadero cheese and chorizo and you might gain 5 pounds just looking at it! But it is delicious.

The guacamole, chips and salsa are just the best Iโ€™ve had anywhere. We ordered mixed fajitas, a cheese enchilada, beef taco, beans and rice and every bite was delicious.

Iโ€™m not a food critic, but I do like to eat and this is one of my top 3 when it comes to Mexican food restaurants in North Texas. Whatโ€™s your favorite place to eat Mexican food? Please tell me in the comments below. Iโ€™d love to learn about a new place to try this weekend!
