There are a lot of good Mexican food restaurants in DFW, but my favorite may just be…

El Asadero.

The last time I went to El Asadero on North Main Street in Ft. Worth it was packed. It’s always full, and most of the time the people eating there are speaking Spanish. This is a family owned gem.

The queso is the kind you find in Mexico. It’s made with asadero cheese and chorizo and you might gain 5 pounds just looking at it! But it is delicious.

The guacamole, chips and salsa are just the best I’ve had anywhere. We ordered mixed fajitas, a cheese enchilada, beef taco, beans and rice and every bite was delicious.

I’m not a food critic, but I do like to eat and this is one of my top 3 when it comes to Mexican food restaurants in North Texas. What’s your favorite place to eat Mexican food? Please tell me in the comments below. I’d love to learn about a new place to try this weekend!
