This spring can be a season of spectacular growth…10 things I’m changing after coming out of
#quarantine
I would love to know what yours are
*
1) More travel! I’ve always loved to travel and the pandemic made me realize how much I miss it. I’m making a “travel calendar” & committing to places I’m traveling in the next year
*
2) More family & close friend time – not seeing my son and good friends for more than a year made me realize I have to *make* time for that to happen & I’m committing to a weekly “date” with someone I love
*
3) Fewer obligations. I’ve actually enjoyed the freedom to spend time without obligations and in the future I’ll be more selective about what I say yes to. It’s ok to say no
*
4) Spend less on clothes and personal items. I reached into my closet time after time during the pandemic. In the future I’ll put a new spin on old garments. Sustainable is the future
*
5) More entertaining at home!!! I ‘ve always enjoyed my home and I”m excited to use it when I can finally welcome guests again (round dining tables are friendly

)
*
6) More spiritual. I got deeper into praying & journaling every morning & walking closer to God has been the biggest win of the pandemic. 3 easy steps daily: pray, trust & give thanks
*
7) Slower living. Just taking a walk or a nap on the sofa, things I never had time for before, I’ve really enjoyed
*
8 Tip more: I’ve been a generous tipper but seeing how much hospitality workers depend on us opened my heart, 25% standard
*
9) Open the windows! I’ve always enjoyed fresh air but I have a new appreciation now

10 Self Care – has to be a priority because we can only fully love others from a place of security, otherwise we’re operating from “need” and that’s not fair to anybody. I will be intentional about one self care practice daily.
It’s truly time to “spring forward”,
