The reason this shot of my dining room is my favorite in the D Home Magazine article…

is that Tiffany Blue paint we decided to do on the ceiling!

I love color, but I’m liking the white backdrop in my new home…D Home Magazine feature on Jane McGarry home

as a palette for bright colors to pop against.

And one place I love the use of crisp white with a pop of color is in the bedroom!

This pic from the D Home Magazine shoot is of my bedroom and linens.

Here is a closer look at the D.Porthault bed linens.  Jackie Kennedy loved D. Porthault linens and I had always secretly wanted them so this was something I splurged on for myself in my new home.

I liked the Demoiselles Pink pattern for my room. The Linen Boutique on Lover’s Lane in Dallas did a wonderful job of helping me and they have a beautiful selection of linens to choose from.

I chose D.Porthault Lilas Blue  in the guest bedroom.

This may be my favorite pattern, it’s so clean and restful.

I may incorporate more color in the next place I live, but right now I love the fresh, modern, clean feel of brilliant pops against white.

This is the D Home Magazine piece on my new home, and here is the D Home Magazine piece done a few years back on my Ft. Worth home.

I like the idea of keeping the things you love and always making them fresh and new! (I like that in all of life:)

I love it all, and since you’re currently in Rome, I could sneak over and sleep in the lovely guest room. Its decor does look especially restful!
