Chef Stephan Pyles, a 5th generation Texan, is a celebrated chef, cookbook author and philanthropist. He has created 21 restaurants in 5 cities.

Pyles is the undisputed father of Modern Texas Cuisine, he was the first person in the Southwest to win a James Beard Award for Best Chef.

Pyles lives in Dallas where he most recently opened San Salvaje.
