A KEY TO PREVENTING ALZHEIMER’S?

I was so excited when I read this that I wanted to share it with you.

We all know how terrible Alzheimer’s Disease is. It is an awful disease for the person who has it and the family and friends.

Because I’m a journalist, I’m pretty skeptical of articles I see about “cures” and “miracle treatments”.  But I think this article Preventing Alzheimer’s in Psychology Today has some information we need to think about, and maybe act on.

Please read the entire article, but the main point is that there is credible research that shows Alzheimer’s may be linked to our intake of sugar and bad carbohydrates.  If this is true, there is action every one of us can take today.

It’s out with the old and in with the new at this time of year, and I can’t think of a better way to start!
